Roundhouse product in original box. Made in the USA. This is an UNASSMBLED kit. The motor is good and has never been used as this kit has never been assembled. All the instructions are included. You can model two distinctive periods with same kit, 180-1910 or 1920-1940.
This kit is an original from the first production, the stamp on the label of "300 Virginia & Truckee at 49.98" means it was sold later but was "at that point" older stock from the factory.
Box size is 6.25 x 13.25 and weight is 1.8 lbs (for shipping) although it is suggested that the box goes inside another with bubble wrap.
This is the very first edition of this model kit. The instructions have the date of 10/78 but the kit was not on the market until 79. The instructions are also Rev 2. meaning that the engineers revised them before they were initially printed. The box is in excellent condition with a nice drawing of the model on a label that extends over the end of the box top. On the that label is a factory stamp that states "VIRGINA & TRUCKEE $49.98. There is some wear on the box lid, where some tape was used to seal the box and a couple skuffs of the drawing. In addition someone wrote in ball point pen, "kit, motorgood". Even so, good example of this original kit from Roundhouse products, California.
